LASIK is the most commonly performed laser refractive procedure with the fastest results.
PresbyMAX is a laser refractive procedure exclusively offered by Borough Lasik Center that is for the presbyopic age group which is those aged 42-late 50s.
TransepiLASIK is a surface only no-touch laser refractive procedure in which the eye is not touched by any instrument.
PRK is a laser refractive surgery used to treat astigmatism, hyperopia, and myopia.
Premium Eye Implant Surgery is a lens based refractive surgery for age related vision problems using premium Intraocular Lens Implants (IOLs).
Laser-Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis
LASIK is the most commonly performed laser refractive procedure with the fastest results. It is used to treat astigmatism, hyperopia, and myopia. In LASIK, an ML7 microkeratome is used to cut a thin flap in the cornea, which is then folded to the side before the laser treatment. The corneal tissue under it is later modelled with the excimer laser. Afterwards the flap is folded back into place, where it adheres automatically.
PresbyMAX
PresbyMAX is a laser refractive procedure exclusively offered by Borough Lasik Center that is for the presbyopic age group which is those aged 42-late 50s. PresbyMAX is a LASIK procedure wherein multiple precisely calculated focal points are created in the eye similar to the principle applied in multifocal contact or intraocular lenses. The cornea is modelled at the centre for near vision and towards the periphery for distant vision. This results in a good depth of field and very high quality vision at all distances
TransepiLASIK
TransepiLASIK is a surface only no-touch laser refractive procedure in which the eye is not touched by any instrument. This procedure is perfect for those who have refractive errors, but may have corneas which are not suitable for LASIK. No suction is applied to the eye, and the cornea is not cut. The outermost, regenerating corneal layer (epithelium) does not need to be manually removed, and no alcohol solution is used. Instead, the excimer laser models the cornea through the epithelium. The epithelium then regenerates itself within a week.
PRK (photorefractive keratectomy)
PRK is a laser refractive surgery used to treat astigmatism, hyperopia, and myopia. In PRK treatment, the outermost, regenerating corneal layer (epithelium) is exposed to an alcohol solution which is then manually removed with a blade or rotating brush. The corneal surface is then modelled with the laser. The epithelium then regenerates itself within a week.
Premium Eye Implant Surgery (cataract / refractive lens surgery)
Premium Eye Implant Surgery is a lens based refractive surgery for age related vision problems using premium Intraocular Lens Implants (IOLs). These IOLs provide better range of vision after cataract surgery or refractive lens exchange. These lenses can improve distance, intermediate and near vision. Our patients will no longer need to rely on glasses after being implanted with these premium IOLs.

"The place has very accommodating doctors and assistants both before and after the surgery. During the surgery I did not feel pain and the atmosphere was very comfortable. After the surgery the eyedrops and the medicine I was given was very helpful for my recovery. The surgery only lasted for 5 to 10 mins. Before the surgery the staff let me know what was happening and after they really took care of me." Julian D. Mates
